I agree and I think we are all guilty of neglecting our duties to each other sometimes, but I don't think we should become a guild where members just join for protection. Also many times I've flown halfway across the world and the rats have gone by the time I get there, which is very annoying, especially if I left a camped rat for nothing.

We all should help more when asked, but we should encourage everyone to really think "Can't I do this alone?" before asking for help. It's much more rewarding to take vengence on the filthy rats by taking 2v1 instead of calling in 3 friends.

However, point noted and from now on I'll help out more, but if it's something that could have been done alone, I'll whine at them!

Of course Phar, the only times I will ask for help is if Im badly outnumbered, or its 2vsme and im outgeared, otherwise ill bide my time and killt hem when they least expect it.  

The one time I did ask for help for myself however was after much Corpse camping of my alt, then griefing and corpsecamping form 2 better geared individuals.  

And yeah flying half way across the world isnt realistic, and normally I will say in Guild chat "anyone need help?"," anyone in xxx area?". however I was in Zangarmarsh!

But this wasnt about that time I lost my temper!!  I still love you all - I have often seen people ask for help at BEM, Zylos Plateau and many people just ignore it.

I dont think this is a guild that people join for "the zerg" and protection, but if one of our players is getting griefed we should be there to help them - if that person constantly gets ganked, and never helps others, or is just loosing non stop then thats for the officers to look at that person and decide if hes really suited for wpvp.   I will help people as much and as often as I can, I just hope others do the same, or we run the risk of drifting apart.

Yea i know what you mean, understanderbly some people  have good reasons but it is annoying when you look in guild chat and you see 10 people in Durotar quite obviously dueling who could easily come.

i too think it is a fantastic guild with a great bunch of guys and a great ideology behind it.

Your point is well noted, there is a problem. The unfortunat thing is the time it takes to get places. If someone is killed in STV, even if CC'd a few times, by the time someone in outlands can get there 10 mins at least have passed and the rat is gone, time wasted. If I am in the area (such as outland = one area) with good transport around it, I will definatly be over assuming I am not dealing with other rats or am tied down with something that can't wait.

There are a few people who do not feel a need to come do wpvp as they have bg's to attend to. I didn't join until I had gear suitable enough for at least some wpvp, if you do not feel you have what is required for wpvp you shouldn't of joined the guild, at least not until you feel you have the gear/time to do what the guild is about.

I have just got the last important pvp item (only battlemaster left) so the only BG i will be doing is for faction rep, freeing up a lot more time, although I do need to start making some money, grinding can easily be dropped for giving assistance.

I understand and I like to help fellow members when they need it.  But if I am in arena match I doubt I will afk out there, from bg ofc I will. I joined the guild so I don't have to pvp solo all the time vs largely outnumbering force.

I myself have joined the guild with my chars only at higher (69) lvl when I can take any rat down alone and thus don't always have to ask assistance when some of my lowlvl alt is being camped. Truth is that the ferocious guild tag of Zylos Hand will attract more high lvl gankers than any other and it does slow your levelling a bit. But I also understand the reasons why some like to level their alts within the guild and will try my best to go help them. Sad thing is that the travelling to some places at the old continents will take quite long.

I do like the world pvp the most, but for some reason I still like to do bgs just for fun and thats the reason I may often be seen there. I do know I am quite far from the worst helpers of the guild's members, but I still think there is a lot I can do more for fellow members and will try to be of more help.

 As I said, I dont expect everyone to drop everything to come help, if you are near or not doing anything then great, but i dont see BGs as a valid excuse, Arena yes ofc, even kara to an extent (Falkja :D)

 And yeah I know that getting alts corpse camped is a given in ZH :D
