Pretty good plan there Fifth however i disagree with some things and ill tell you all what I think of:

However our main focus should still be wpvp as a priority !

Absolutly agree here to have 2 kind of officers and imo the guild should be a little more focused on rated bgs than arena since ppl are gonna gear up from r bgs not arena in cata. Those who like arena will sure play it but not as a necesity of getting gear.

Remember that many players out there despise us and think of ZH as a noob guild.

As an officer I vote against spamming trade for recruiting and im pretty sure the other officers think the same.

But some things are certain :

1. We must recruit dedicated pvpers (we are not a weekend guild)

2. We must become more active (give the rats a hard time allways)

3. Focus on wpvp ( rats and hordes out there know of what we are doing and that we are wpvp guild even tho they think wpvp is dead)

4. MUST NOT become a bg focused guild !

Just think about what ppl will say : ZH is bg guild these days , no more fun

Anyways good initiative keep it up , ZH will never die !!

i agree that we need to get fresh active new faces in our guild we do need to recruit but if we did recruit we would have to do it in the best way to spam trade is defenatly out of the question ive been recruitment officer in two guilds before one being a high end ranked guild i find the best way to recruit is by word of mouth if you see someone doing wpvp then point them to our website or better tell them a little bit about what we are about and our history, also a thread on the offical forums just simply saying we are lookng for active wpvp's who want to join in a fun and friendly guild you would be surprised of the intrest out there.

we have several very active members who are doing a fantasic job and some of the best players(people) ive met in the game for the duaration ive played 4 years we have a fantasic foundation to build on we have the best GM that anyone could possibly ask for his pressence alone is inspiring to us all kingrd has set the foundation its up to us all now to build on this and make zylos hand the BEST pvp guild ever what we need is a rejuvanation , we have the talent we have the people.

im also trying my hardest to plan events im planning them weekly but only 8-9 people sign up and when the event is happening only 3-4  turn up this is where we need to recruit people always ask when are we doing guild events so i plan them and nobody shows or simply we stop all events.

we have to ask ourselfs me included "why are we here in this guild" my answer is simple i love wpvp and will do it on all my characters im always the first one on the scene ,i also love been here this guild for me did 2 things number 1 it saved me from quiting when i had enough of pve and was about to quit ,and number 2 it re united me with past friends and also its made me more friends that i can relate to in pvp and quite simple its such a fun enviroment to be in.

if we want to drive the guild forward and i know most people do we have to do it together we ARE a guild we are one TEAM so lets all band together and move this forward zylos hand is great i say lets smash great lets make zylos hand the best horde pvp guild lets make us that everybody knows what this guild is about lets make is AWESOME !!

Fellas the "recruit through word of mouth" plan has got us where we are today. the guild has been shrinking for months.

Active recruitment is the key to any guilds survival.
Ours needs a lot of it and some new officers/events/plans.

Most players dont visit the realm forums.

Trade is a good way to get the message out, a recruitment banner posted a few times a day at peak times gives us exposure to a hundred times more players than any other method.

Players are the lifeblood of a guild.
Without some drastic recruitment even our hardcore members will leave after a time.

It's no fun logging to find 3-4 people online at busy times and GC silent. No-one shows up for guild events because we have a tiny pool of active players, most of the offline toons are gone or alts.
